Шоппинг в штатах

В Америке шопиться одно удовольствие. Уж почто я не люблю это дело, но надо признать, пиндосы предусмотрели все, чтобы тебе было удобно потратить свои деньги на шмотки.

Во-первых, это магазины. Надо сказать, что даже самые торговые моллы здесь по размеру гораздо меньше, чем в России. Вызвано это, скорее всего, тем, что среднестатистические американцы не могут ходить далеко пешком. Тут скорее будет квартал отдельно стоящих небольших магазинов, к которым можно подъезжать на машине, чем одно большое здание.

Berlin in January

I was in Berlin for the first time during my tour in the middle part of Europe. I planned to visit several big IT-centers and compare them with what we have in Silicon Valley, but it's a separate story. Berlin is considered to be the one of the biggest modern industrial centers - a lot of people come here for a job and just as tourists.

I stopped in Berlin for one day and took a walking excursion with a guide in the morning to the oldest part of the city. Then I just walked around by myself across the different districts before the night. Not so much to see for this short time, but anyway here are my notes.

Berlin pros:

• A lot of young people are on the streets probably because of holidays at the universities.
